It is a pleasure to announce that Professor Nick Ridler has accepted the position of Non-Executive Director at LA Techniques Ltd.

Professor Ridler is an internationally recognised expert in the field of electromagnetic metrology with over 35 years experience in industrial, academic and government scientific research establishments. His present roles include Science Leader at the National Physical Laboratory, Visiting professorships at the University of Surrey, the University of Leeds and the University of Liverpool. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Physics (IOP).

Professor Ridler has authored and co-authored over 200 publications and conference contributions on high frequency electromagnetic measurements. He has twice received the IET Measurement Prize and holds eight Best Paper awards for international scientific conferences.  He is a past President of the ARFTG Board of Directors, a past Chair of the IEEE Microwave Measurements committee and past Chair of the IET RF & Microwave Technology Network.
